Refund policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy applies to purchases made from Wooit Pty Ltd trading as Little Arts (“Little Arts”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

Little Arts creates handmade artworks, sculptural objects, and collectible works. Due to the limited, handmade, collectible, and fragile nature of our artworks, we do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for change of mind unless required by applicable consumer protection law.

Please review product descriptions, dimensions, materials, colours, images, and availability carefully before placing an order.

Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable consumer protection laws.


2. Change of Mind

We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for:

  • change of mind
  • incorrect selection
  • finding an item cheaper elsewhere
  • deciding you no longer want or need the item
  • minor variations in colour, texture, form, surface, finish, or dimension
  • handmade characteristics or irregularities that are consistent with the nature of handmade artworks
  • sale items, unless required by law
  • limited edition works, unless required by law
  • commissioned or custom artworks, unless required by law

Minor handmade variations are part of the character of the work and are not considered defects.


3. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order carefully upon delivery.

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible and within 48 hours of delivery where possible at:

Your email should include:

  • your order number
  • clear photographs of the artwork
  • clear photographs of the external packaging
  • clear photographs of the internal packaging
  • clear photographs of the shipping label
  • a description of the issue

Please keep all original packaging while the issue is being reviewed.

Providing clear photographic evidence helps us assess whether the issue occurred during transit, packing, or delivery. If sufficient information is not provided, we may be unable to properly assess the claim.

If the issue is verified, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws. Depending on the circumstances, this may include:

  • a replacement, if available
  • a repair solution, where appropriate
  • a refund to the original payment method
  • another remedy required by law

4. Damage After Delivery

Little Arts artworks are handmade and may be fragile.

Customers are responsible for handling, displaying, storing, and caring for artworks appropriately after delivery.

We do not offer refunds, replacements, or repairs for damage caused after delivery by:

  • customer mishandling
  • misuse
  • dropping
  • impact
  • pressure or force
  • incorrect installation
  • unsuitable display conditions
  • unsuitable storage
  • exposure to water or moisture
  • excessive heat
  • prolonged direct sunlight
  • cleaning products
  • failure to handle the work with reasonable care

Damage reported after the artwork has been handled, installed, displayed, cleaned, moved, stored, or otherwise used by the customer may not be treated as transit damage.

This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable consumer protection laws.


5. Approved Returns

Returns must not be sent without prior written approval from Little Arts.

If a return is authorised:

  • the item must be returned in its original condition
  • the item must be securely repacked in its original packaging where possible
  • the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise required by law
  • the buyer is responsible for ensuring the item is returned safely
  • we strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service

We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

Items damaged due to inadequate return packaging may not be eligible for a refund.

Unauthorised returns will not be accepted.


6. International Orders

We ship to selected international destinations available at checkout.

By placing an order from outside Australia, you acknowledge that:

  • international customs duties, import taxes, handling fees, brokerage fees, or local charges may apply
  • these charges are determined by the destination country
  • these charges are the responsibility of the customer
  • return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise required by law

If mandatory consumer protection laws apply in your country of residence, your statutory rights will apply to the extent required by law.


7. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method where possible.

Please allow time for your bank, card provider, or payment provider to process the refund after it has been issued.

Original shipping charges, customs duties, import taxes, handling fees, brokerage fees, or local charges are not refundable unless required by law.


8. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights, guarantees, remedies, or protections you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable consumer protection laws.

If a product has a major problem, is unsafe, is significantly different from its description, or otherwise fails to meet applicable consumer guarantees, you may be entitled to a remedy as required by law.
